Two years in to a four-year transformation, [the Business Unit] was showing some of the strongest growth within [the Enterprise] due in part to the work we created in previous bi-annual leadership summits introducing new ways of working and creating digital tools that support efficiencies and accountability. Now, [the Business Unit] was looking to more aggressively re-shape their strategy to achieve a new goal—taking the title of the world’s infrastructure category leader.
With a deep understanding of the B2B2C nature, my team co-created and developed a strategic platform that addresses the business need, its products and services, and its team to be designing, delivering, and managing at "Peak Performance". Utilizing F1 racing as the core metaphor, precision, teamwork, and technological innovation was built in to the summit experience. This new platform is currently being built in to the strategy, marketing, and delivery for the next two years.
We crafted multiple content modules carefully constructing the two-day experience to achieve our three-prong strategy for the summit.
– First, own the new narrative through engaging presentations and interactive exercises;
– Second, experience the product offerings through carefully planned demos and Q&A sessions with the product owners; and
– Finally, share the best ideas from around the globe to solve common problems through digital platforms, live feedback, and curated panels based on the strongest ideas.
Of the last two years of summits, this was regarded as the most successful in terms of energy, impact, and engagement with the attendees. This and the work from previous summits have helped the organization outperform other units within [the Enterprise].
Attendees were sending the scalable assets to their teams around the globe on day one—extending the reach of the summit to thousands more before it had concluded. The experience continues to influence the organization through the new narrative, a comprehensive understanding of the new tech platform offering, a self-reading pitch deck for one of featured groups, an accessible story for each new offering, a video celebrating the past two years of accomplishments, and a dynamic visual system to brand the messaging for the next two years.
